Six events across all Puglian provinces, starting on Friday 6 May in Lecce. These itinerant sessions will examine the future of tourism and culture in Puglia in view of the "Puglia365 - Towards a new strategic plan". The Culture & Tourism Tour, organized by Pugliapromozione and the Culture and Tourism Department of the Puglia Region, stems from the initiatives of the Strategic Tourism Plan launched in 2016, which led to a new vision of a sector worth 11% of the Puglian GDP, encompassing all cultural facets of tourism.
The first of the six events will take place on Friday May 6 in the Castromediano Museum of Lecce, presented by the President of the Puglia Region Michele Emiliano, the Regional Councilor for Tourism Gianfranco Lopane, the regional councilor with responsibility for Culture Grazia Di Bari , the director of the Culture Tourism Department Aldo Patruno, and the general director of Pugliapromozione Luca Scandale.
The 6 conferences include dates on: May 27 in Foggia, June 10 Bari, June 17 in Taranto, June 30 in the BAT (Barletta-Andria-Trani) province and the final event on July 8 in Brindisi.
The Tourism & Culture Tour aims to let a selected public of professionals and stakeholders learn how Pugliapromozione and the Puglia Region will promote the 6 provinces and their innovative initiatives. A shared process of learning by listening to our territories, thus reshaping Puglian tourism throughout the years 2023-2025.
